Visit Upton Hall for an introduction to the world of clocks by Paul Roberson FBHI who has 40 years experience as a watch and clockmaker including keeping “Big Ben” running and looking after the clocks in The Palace of Westminster.
This one day event will include demonstrations on how to set up clocks, how to put them in beat and how to regulate them as well as the correct methods used to move clocks. There will also be a presentation showing examples of different clocks and their driving forces, etc. A tour of the Clocks in the Museum is included. During the afternoon there will be a chance to practice setting up clocks and learn the best ways to clean them.
We will be running two 1-day events on 16th & 17th June 2017 from 9.30am– 4.30pm at a cost of £99.00 including refreshments and lunch.
