A position for a Junior Specialist has arisen in our Clock Department, based in our New Bond Street office.
The aim of this role is to support the Department Director.
You will assist on exhibition events, either in the UK or worldwide, as and when required. As and when necessary, support to produce the catalogues to ensure timely delivery to printers.
In addition your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, writing catalogue notes; prioritising initial valuation enquiries for the specialists; assisting with the department’s marketing in conjunction with the Advertising Department; organising shipping; organising photography and maintaining the department’s resource library.
You will be highly motivated, working well within a team and independently, with excellent organisational and time management skills. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and the ability to take and store digital photographs. Equally you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. The ability to work as part of a team is essential as well as work to tight deadlines and under pressure. Excellent time management and organisational skills are key for this role.
Experience in an auction house, gallery or museum is preferred.
