Celebrating 100 Editions of A Helping Hand for Students 🎉A very special milestone for clockmaker David Poole MBE FBHI — the 100th edition of A Helping Hand for Students! (see the September edition of the Horological Journal)First published in The Horological Journal in January 2008, David’s series has been an invaluable resource for BHI students for almost two decades, sharing practical advice, examination guidance and the knowledge needed to achieve the high standards expected of aspiring horologists. Many of his tips and techniques have gone on to form part of the BHI Distance Learning Course, helping even more people develop their skills in clockmaking and horology. We’d also like to recognise former Education Officer and President Alan Burtoft FBHI, who contributed several of the earlier articles.A huge thank you to David for sharing his expertise, encouragement and passion for excellence over 100 editions. 👏Here’s to A Helping Hand for Students — and to inspiring the next generation of horologists! ⏱️#Horology #LearnHorology #HorologyEducation #HorologyStudents #Clockmaking #LearnClockmaking #Watchmaking #LearnWatchmaking #HorologicalSkills #HorologicalTraining #Clockmakers #Watchmakers #AspiringHorologists #HorologyResources ...
