There are many fascinating events hosted by BHI Branches across the country including talks by professionals and amateurs keen to share their knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. Support your local Branch by attending the meetings and keeping an eye out for auctions and excursions.

We also post listings about upcoming events from the BHI, Museum of Timekeeping and other horological societies and clubs.

4 – Launch of The Luxury of Time: Clocks from 1550–1750 at the National Museum of Scotland. Chambers Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1JF. Admission free. Exhibition runs until 26 January 2020. Explore the history of early British clock making in this special display. Featuring beautiful objects from the golden age of clock making, these exquisitely decorated pieces were at the cutting edge of technology and the ultimate status symbol of their day.
